If there was a theme for the year 2020 it seemed to be "vision" - 20/20 vision, but that perfectly clear vision became extremely blurred when COVID-19 appeared... What is it that is making this current situation seem so extra frightening? I think it's the loss of the illusion that we are somehow in control.

Dear Posterity, The last two weeks have been good. We are still dealing with lice, but we only had about 17 meltdowns this week instead of 18, so that's progress I would say. We got some desks and converted the playroom into a schoolroom, complete with a reading corner and music area. After a couple days of official distance learning the girls are in a routine.
